Good main doctor but assistants aren't worth seeing. Friendly but sloppy scheduling repeatedly making up stories and blaming phone system to cover up for their mistakes..
We started going to Shore Dental 2 years ago. After the first appointment, I was told I couldn’t schedule my 3 children’s appointments together due to their varying ages. I was frustrated due to the major inconvenience, but the hygienists were so helpful- I decided to see how it went. Right after that, a mass email went out from the office manager stating that parents weren’t welcome to bring siblings to appointments. They are a pediatric dentist practice- I was baffled. They wanted me to schedule different appointments at different times throughout the day (causing me to have to take off work) AND get a sitter to watch my other children during their appointments?! Fortunately, Dr. Sherman’s wife saw the atrocious email and personally called to apologize for the email stating that the overwhelmed office staff behaved impulsively and inappropriately in constructing and sending the email. I thought things would get better, but alas, I was wrong. In the next visit, my youngest had his second cleaning and they refused to allow me back with him since I had my infant with me (I was wearing her in a Bjorn) and told there wasn’t room. He was newly 3 and very upset by the experience. At the next visit for my oldest daughter- I was told they didn’t have me scheduled. They explained they had a computer issue and that if I wanted to be seen I’d have to wait. 40 minutes later I approached the office staff and they had forgotten we were waiting!!! They told me they were closing and asked me to reschedule! I am currently trying to get My children’s x-rays emailed to a new doctor. I have called and been put on hold for so long (20 Minutes and longer) that I am forced to hang up. It has been a week. I’ve run into some terrible office staffs, but they don’t even compare to how awful the office staff is at Shore Dental. BEWARE.
Dr. Sherman and his entire staff are absolutely the most professional, friendly, efficient group I have ever dealt with! My 1 month old son needed a release of his lip tie and tongue tie. Dr. Sherman and his staff made the process smooth and easy. I am 100% pleased with the service we received there and I would recommend Dr. Sherman to anyone & everyone!!! I am shocked that not everyone rated him 5 stars, it was that pleasurable of an experience!!! The nicest guy and the nicest staff!!!!.

By far the best dentist I've ever had. Dr. Hostnik explains every procedure and each step as he is performing it. He is quite painless and very professional. I would recommend everyone I meet to go to Dr Hostnik. A dentist of this caliber is very hard to find!.
