Norcross Dental Associates has owed me over $500 for over 3 months now and refuses to cut me a check. They committed insurance and consumer fraud when they demanded I pay them $765.50 out of pocket for an appointment then they also collected payment from my insurance company. I was only responsible for $258.50 so they have owed me $507.00 since December of 2020 and they simply refuse to reimburse me this huge over-payment. My insurance company has asked them over and over to reimburse me this money and they have nothing but excuses for why they aren't doing so. I am reporting them to the Georgia board of dentistry and taking them to court if my refund isn't issued in the next 7 business days..
This place has turned into one of those offices where you're just a number. I've been going here forever, but I'm just done now. If you have a balance, they don't call you a week ahead to inform you that you won't be seen... On my most recent visit, I took off of work, drove there, thought I had a balance of $240 remaining from some dental work ($6k worth that I paid a lot up front and pay $225 a month already) and I moved the $240 over to make sure I had it for when I went. Apparently my FSA did not cover some of what I thought. They made me sit there. I finally realized they weren't going to see me unless I paid over $600 on the spot. I'm not rich and takes me a little time to move money from accounts (it's not instant and I like it that way). They were rude, I left without being seen. Drove to the bank, moved the money called them and paid them and told them to never call me again. Been seeing the same hygienist for 15+ yrs and at least took a moment to tell her bye, but I'm not going to be treated like that. They easily could call people a week in advance and avoid this, but they aren't going to change and I will find another place..
