didnt feel much pain I went there to get my gums cleaned and it took 4 didfeerent appointments to do it. I have to say it wasnt painful like I thought . They were very gentle. The price was good since I had to pay out of pocket.That was my first time there.They were all nice and asked me if I felt any pain..
Be aware! Good: Clean facility & friendly staff.. Bad: The staff has been trained to sell you services that are not really needed for a small fortune. They were going to charge me over $6,000 for services for my daughter that cost us about $1,700 at another dentist. The work at the new dentist was wonderful. Also, they filled a simple cavity for me and I was in alot of pain when I got home. I went in 2 additional times, they weren't able to fix the problem, but still want to charge me over $600 for the filling. Our new dentist fixed it on my first visit!. Other: Be aware and be informed - do not have work that is not necessary and price the work you do have compared to other dentists. While their work can be fine, it is not any better than any other competent dentist. BE INFORMED AND BE EDUCATED!!..
Staff rude, services expensive, bad quality The staff is quite rude if they don't realize you are customer! It is kind of shocking. Then once they realize you are they try to pretend they are friendly and helpful. I had VERY basic stuff done. They filled a "cavity" (at a cost well above what comparable dental services charge) which turned out not even to be a cavity but a "potential" cavity. They also insisted on using some high powered sanding like tool to clean one of my teeth... and then proceeded to chip it. So now instead of a "dirty" tooth I am missing part of my tooth. They also charged a lot for that 10 second procedure. Because its a cosmetic dental service, they want to make you feel like your teeth are ugly. They do that thing where they are like "You have probably noticed that (fill in something that is only noticeable to you) is wrong with your teeth. We can fix for (fill in an exorbitant price here)." All in all, there are lots of dental services available in New Haven. Don't go here. They are snobby, over priced and not worth it..
