Dr. Norman Blumenstock, DDS

Horrible experience. First visit the doctor pulled out my dental bridge while making a mold for sleep apnea apparatus. Apparatus rubbed sores on gums. Never able to use it. Going to start all over with another dentist. His office is only concerned that I pay small balance left after medicare and my insurance paid him..

Dr. Norman Blumenstock, DDS

Dr. Blumenstock is an expert who dismisses any data that challenges his view. The appliance he had made for me aggravated the TMJ dysfunction I've had for years. One of his assistants told me that they use a different appliance for TMJ patients. I had told him and his staff that I have TMD and wear an appliance..

Monroe Dental Group

DON?T go to Monroe Dental Group. If you care about your teeth, you will keep searching for another dentist. Monroe Dental does not understand that customers keep them in business. This lack of customer service was evident from the very beginning when I went to cleaning/exam as I was having issues with a tooth. Issue #1-they don?t respect your time: I had an appointment, made well in advance, and checked in a few minutes early. Yet, I was not seen for over 50 minutes as I watched a half a dozen other patients come after me and most left before I was seen. (Keep in mind I took time off work for this visit). I was basically ignored as I sat in the waiting room and never given a reason for the wait. Issue #2-they don?t care about your teeth: When I was finally taken back for the exams and cleaning everything was fine, but nothing special. Although, I never felt that they really cared about my dental health or issues. I expressed my bothersome tooth and was told everything looked good. It hurts! Doesn?t that mean something? When I pressed for more information, I was given a prescription for a $20 tube of toothpaste that has extra fluoride, but didn't really help. (The next dentist I visited confirmed it was a waste and that any toothpaste with the active ingredients in Sensodyne would work better for temporary relief). Issue #3-poor quality work: I would compare this place as the Kmart of dentists. If you want to trust your teeth to them, be ready to be frustrated when you continue to have issues. They don't stand behind their work even if you have issues from their work. They told us they don?t do their own REWORK. So, if they screw up, they send you to another specialist so you need to pay again for the work you wanted done right the first time. They also will tell you that your symptoms are normal and make you feel dumb for asking. A second opinion will reveal otherwise and you will probably end up at another dentist office anyway. If you are like me, you work too hard to throw your money down the drain. Save yourself the headache and lost money! DON?T go to Monroe Dental Group.
