Best Dentist In City - Dr. Kalpana Kaveti, DMD

Midwest Dental

I was so scared to get my teeth cleaned after about 15 years of avoiding the dentist. The hygienist took the time to discuss what my fears were and really put me at ease. Not only does my mouth feel great just one day after my cleaning, but I also have a greatly reduced fear of the dentist. A big thanks to the staff for the time they took to make me feel like an individual and not "just another patient.".

My husband went to Dr. Burge for thirty years. Since Dr. Burge retired, my husband has found it increasingly difficult to schedule an appointment in Midwest Dental's Pekin office. He is unable to schedule his appointment months in advance due to his work schedule. Whenever he has tried to schedule an appointment, he has been told, "sorry, but this month is completely filled". When he has asked to be placed on a wait list, so he can be notified of any cancellations, he has bee... See More n told "we rarely have cancellations". When he sent an email to Midwest Dental about his difficulties in scheduling an appointment, he never received a reply. He feels that no attempts were ever made to try to accommodate him, and has since transferred his dental care to another office. It is sad that the group that now owns Dr. Burges' old practice does not seem to value patient/customer loyalty..
