In the year and a half that I have been a patient at this practice, I have been seen by 3 different dentists due to a high turnover. These provider changes were not communicated to me until the day of appointment when a new face walked into the exam room. Poor communication and unreliability by the office were also noted with upcoming appointments. During a four month period, my appointment for a procedure was canceled on 3 consecutive occasions with short notice. With inflexibility in my work schedule, all three of these appointments were scheduled weeks to months in advance with time off work prearranged. When explaining to the receptionist the situation, I was provided with an insincere apology and a next open appointment date of 1 month later. There was no visible effort by the office to correct their shortcomings (e.g. expediting a new appointment date, offering a discount, etc.). I am surprised how a business that prioritizes their convenience over that of the customer can stay afloat. My advice to anyone looking for a new dentist is to look elsewhere. There are a number of other dental practices on Cherry Street alone. You're bound to find one that values patient satisfaction and is able to keep a dentist for longer than 6 months..
Good dentists. Terrible billing department. It's been more than 6 months since our visit and the office doesn't know how to submit our bill to insurance. And invariably they will keep sending me bills and can't answer my questions when I call them about it. They promise to return calls, but never do. Billing person only works once a week in their office, so you need to wait for upto a week to get your questions answered, if at all..

Had root canal by Dr. Ahmad this week. First off, his office staff is great. Very easy to work with and very pleasant. The dental assistant was top notch and very accommodating. Lastly, Dr Ahmed is not only great at his job but he is also very funny. RC's are no fun but if you get in done at this practice by Dr Ahmed, you will be very pleased..
We moved from Stamford recently and are so happy that we chose Big Smiles for our kids dental needs. They are professional, caring and very kid friendly. Everything is is new looking and very inviting for kids and parents alike. Thank you Big Smiles!.
