The staff at National Dental in Melville is beyond exceptional. The hygienist Michelle was very thorough and informative. Dr ipektchi gave one of the most comprehensive exams I have ever had and his assistant Demetria made it very comfortable and explained step by step how to care for my invisalign trays and the other maintenance required. The flow from the initial greeting by the manager Marianna to the hygienist to the doctor and then back to the manager was seamless. The team work was near perfect. Everyone is always upbeat smiling. The manager was very helpful in setting up my financial agreement and asked all the right questions and listened so well to where she made the treatment affordable for my needs. I am definitely referring friends and family. They are no nonsense and very honest. There are no gimmicks no hidden fees. Everything is explained in great detail and you can see how much they enjoy what they do in their office, how can you say no to that!.
I've had the good fortune of having Dr. Ipetchki and Dr. Madhavan as my dentists, they have taken such great care of my teeth. From fixed broken tooth to root canals and crowns, you name it. Their dental assistants were very helpful with explaining the procedure and making their patients feel comfortable. To the manager explaining every detail and information needed. Very professional and welcoming office! I highly recommend!.
Be very careful this office uses the hard sell to get you to pay out of pocket for the "deep clean" Yes I know there is tartar under my gums that is why I am in your office to get a cleaning. I used to get a cleaning every six months that was paid by my insurance then when National Dental bought out office it's they can't do the cleaning in one visit and have to come back and it's 140 bucks over my coverage. Then when I refused they wouldn't do the cleaning at all. They also overdo it with x-rays. Stay with a private office. National is about getting as much money out of you as they can..
