He did a root canal that became infected with six months..
I found Dr. Turner and his staff to be very friendly and professional. I saw a negative review that singled out the office staff and I cannot imagine what prompted that person's reaction. My wife and I have both had root canals done by Dr. Turner and both of our experiences were very positive..
Unprofessional office manager "Jenifer" (understatement). Dr Turner is exceptional however his practice is not exceptional because of the Rude, inappropriate ill-manners of the office staff..
Although I found Dr. Shoha to be a nice Dentist, I found the billing procedures to be less than professional, and down right criminal. This office will adjust the fees according to your insurance, and not in your favor! I think they should charge the same fee for a root canal for everyone. Apparently, if your insurance covers more, they charge you more out of pocket. Thinking you won't notice. Reason I know this...I just received a bill from my insurance co. I paid the office a little over 100 cash, the office saw my insurance covered more than they thought and I also received a "2nd corrected bill" showing I owe $200.00 more out of pocket. I contacted my insurance company and they agree with what I noticed and they are going to investigate. I will never go back or recommend. A crook is a crook in Dental Uniforms..... I had to have a root canal redone, replacing silver with gutta percha. Dr. Steve Shoha was not only an excellent endodontist, but a funny guy. His staff is also very friendly..
I went to this Dentist, they immediately sat me in the chair without full disclosure of any fees or cost. When the doctor entered the room, I immediately started asking questions about cost...he told me....I didn't like it ....so I left. I then received a bill for $95.00. I called the billing department...their response was..."whenever my doctor comes in to talk to you...they charge you for an exam". What the @#$%$%? So now I am on the hook for an exam/discussion? I learned my lessons....never sit in a chair without knowing the cost up front.....and more importantly...NEVER goto a doctor that doesn't have full disclosure paperwork on cost before you sit in the exam chair....what a rip off.
