Dr. Gary Dehm, DMD

I would highly recommend Dr. Lee, seems very highly skilled, and has very good patient rapport!! He has only been here in practice since August, coming from The Dalles. Presents different options for treatment and cost, no pressure..

This place is so rude to patients!!!! I had had my baby a few months prior and went in for my schedueled appointment and sat there for 25 minutes before they said that they were not going to be able to see me today. And just as one desk person said that another worker took straight back a woman who had walked in 10 minutes after i did. And lord help you if you have the oregon health plan, because if they ear those words then your appointments get schedueled for months out and emergency's dont get appointments for a week at lest. And they seem to be ruder when they know you have the ohp, they rush you, they have an attitde, you sit in the office for a long time before you get called back and thye have no idea how to deal with children. And the dentist Higbee, yea dont let that guy touch your face if you value your teeth. He has a severe lack of attention, very jittery, openly admitted to being on and taking pain pills while at work. Didnt notice an infection in my husbands mouth until a few months later, resulting in the removal of vital teeth due to his poor attention to his patients. He has a bridge made by this office which was made very badly, as the redmond dentist (higbee father) openly asked who did this awful bridge work. Bottom line--choose another dentist as the dentist is obviously a drug user and his office staff are very snobbish and rude!!!.

Unprofessional, little to no understanding of childhood development, & his approach with my child was scary. He was forceful without explaining what he was doing, or at least not until I asked him to stop and explain to the both us what his intent was. He was difficult to understand due to the bleach whitening trays in his mouth. Which, he told me were in all day as a competition with his girlfriend to see who could keep them in longer. As a professional myself in the medical field, I would never have a bedside manner with my patients or their families like he did. He was not in a rush as I was called to come earlier in the day due to an open schedule. None the less, he rolled his eyes up at me when I put my hand on my daughter & asked him to stop & explain what he was doing. I should've left then. My daughter is 8 & has been going to the dentist for cleanings regularly with another dentist for 4 yrs prior & never had an experience that reduced her to tears and weeks of mouth pain after a check up. We will never go back. Even if our financial circumstances & health insurance hadn't recently changed, I would still pay the money to go somewhere else. As for the rest of the staff, we had a great experience with them. They were knowledgeable & friendly. One thing to note, it's their standard to not call the day before to courteously remind you of your appointments that you may have made months in advance. "Our office is too busy," one receptionist told me. If missed, you may have to wait another 1-2 months before getting in again, as was our experience..
