WESTERN DENTAL REVIEW Lodi CA: SHORT VERSION LEAVING OUT ARGUMENTATING AND DISHONESTY BY CHECK-IN STAFF AND MGR DANIELA AND THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED INCIDENT. I was first through door when opened for Mon 9am apt. Late as usual, one upset person at counter just checking in pts. At ~940am, I went to staff about delay. Staff said (before I asked anything) she has to verify coverage for everyone. I asked why WD waited until after the apt time to start this when emails, txts, calls from WD went on for about two weeks. She said WD does this Monday for whole week. I asked when will they start verifying coverage. She said when she gets a chance but I am the first one (as I was first one checked in). I said I have other items to do and asked about how long will this take. She said I will be seen today but no timeframe at all. It was already almost 45 min past my apt time and WD cannot say how soon they will prepare for all the apts that day beyond assuring me that I will be seen some time this day so I said I cannot just wait until WD gets around to preparing for the apt that was over a half hour ago and got the apt rescheduled. Because of ongoing negligence in preparation and absurd wasting of patients' time, I emailed my self at 925am and 931am that I am waiting before going up to counter. In speaking with Mgr. Daniela about problem and to make sure they got around to preparing for appointments in the future so avoid absurdly wasting so much of clients' time, Daniela was just hostile, rude and even dishonest. Without going into all the details of both staff's dishonest and arguing, Daniela said she noted my leaving at ~ 922am and that I just did not want to wait. I clarified this lie and then said that I emailed myself at 925am and 931am that I am still waiting before going up to the counter to see how far behind they are (already) with their first patients and said I will fax the emails proving the lie as emails have time stamps that are verifiable. Apparently, Daniela realized I could prove she was lying, got even more hostile, angry and yelling, demanded if I wanted an appoint or to argue and refused to even acknowledge the lies (others as well but this was easily provable) she got caught in. I notified my Dental Insurance Company who immediately said to file a complaint and she removed WD as my Dental Care Provider and got me in within days with another Dental Care Provider Dentists of Lodi Dental Group. GUESS WHAT... MY APPOINTMENT STARTED ABOUT 6 MINUTES AFTER I WALKED IN THE FACILITY AND I WAS DONE AND OUT IN LESS TIME THAT WAS WASTED BY WESTERN DENTAL..
Was able to get an appointment scheduled to fit my busy schedule. All of the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Good options to fit my adult orthodontic needs..
Absolutely the worst dentist, ever. He examined me without gloves! He had the worst old equipment from a zillion years ago. He harassed me for not wanting to use novocaine. The carpets were dirty in the exam room. I wanted him to take down some very important medical information on my chart and neither he nor his wife (the secretary) would bother. Don't ever go here!.
Dr. Keithley is a kind, generous, gentle dentist. He is fabulous! I have been his patient since the beginning of his practice in Lodi. I value his expertise..
I was charged $30 for a no show when they actually messed up on my appt and gave me wrong day, so when I went in to be seen, the Dentist and dental assistants werent even there. They did not notate that I came or I that was given wrong appt date. I looked in my chart and noticed I was charged the $30 I informed the office manager. The next appt it was still in my chart and not removed. I literally had to call and argue with her to take it off. Another day, I waited 2 HOURS in waiting room to have my braces removed, then when they call me in, they realize they dont even have my retainer. WOW big surprise! I called corporate and was given the run around put on hold , could only leave a message then when someone returned phone call they left message with no return phone #. I gave up. Another visit, there were 2 Vanessas on sign in sheet. Me, and another girl. They called in wrong Vanessa and I had to go to the desk and inform them that there were 2 Vanessas. Do I really need to go on? If you go here, expect to wait atleast 1 hour in waiting room and have crappy customer service..
This place sucks! This place doesn't know the meaning of proffessional dentistry! I had one tooth that needed to be pulled. Nothing more! They charged me for the full check-up and x-rays. ( which I refused to let them do, as I only wanted my tooth pulled, nothing more!) Overall, it ended up costing me over 300 bucks just for a simple extraction. Also, if you have to use these pukes, pay cash up front. DON'T sign their contract for making payments. The language in it basically gives them full license to do and charge whatever they want. I mean, come on.... I only had one simple extraction done and I payed over 300 bucks..... Anyway, you've been warned. And if you don't believe me, do a search on Wester Dental through the internet. Literally thousands of people with complaints like mine and worse. Good luck!.
