Great Doctor with a great staff. I’m a mouth pain wimp and they made comfortable and not nervous at all. Had a tooth extracted & not that I recommend having it done but if you do you are in need of it, you are in great hands with Dr Perod & her staff!.
Secretary- sweet and patient. Appointment confirmation/cancellation— easy to respond; by text. Dental assistant- caring and attentive. She always makes sure I’m comfortable. Dentist- she is calm, down to earth, never pushy, always gives all options, and is very gentle and CARING. My last visit I was anxious as I would need anesthetic in the front of my mouth. Ouch! But between the dental assistant and Dr. Perrard, I never felt pain! That’s nuts! But it’s true!.

I made an appointment, and saw Dr. Alana Gilgurd on a recent Saturday. Coming through the door, I was met by friendly, helpful voices. Ashley and Tonya were bright, and cheery on this early Saturday morning. Their disposition helped me to overcome the anxiety that had plagued me leading up to the visit. Sign-in was a breeze, and I was soon called back to be seen. Yessika was warm and welcoming, and further put me at ease. She was gentle and reassuring during the set of x-rays the doctor needed to put a comprehensive plan for my dental work in place. The hygienist, Carissa, did a thorough job with my cleaning. My teeth had never felt like that! Dr. Gilgurd came in after studying my pictures, and thoroughly explained the condition of my teeth, and the work required to address each issue. I had plenty of questions, and she answered them until she felt sure that I understood. The best part about the visit was the price-only $49. I have no insurance, so I would imagine with insurance, the visit would have been free. I was referred to River Rock's endodontic practice in Austin for dental work that needs an extensive root canal, something beyond the scope of Dr. Gilgurd's practice. If my experience with the endo is anything like the Lockhart office, I will have found my choice for dental healthcare for life. Thank you, River Rock Dental, for bringing dental healthcare into the 21st century, and doing it in such a fun, professional manner..
