Grace Dental Laurie Akinola, DDS 4051 U.S. Highway 78, Suite F101 Lilburn, GA 30047 I am writing to express my concerns regarding the services provided by Grace Dental. My mother had bone extraction and a complete denture for the top and partial for the bottom on July 13, and two impressions were taken in July for her dentures. However, it has been over two months, and we have not received her dentures. On September 27, 2023, I received a call from the receptionist, who wanted to schedule teeth cleaning for my mother. However, I declined the offer as I was not satisfied with the process's delay. When I visited Grace Dental on September 22, I found the clinic closed. I planned to call them once I returned to Atlanta on Wednesday, but they beat me. The receptionist called me back, trying to get my mother to come in for the second round of impressions, stating that she would have to come in twice to get the first impression and then return another day to get the second impression. I informed the receptionist that it should not have taken them July, August, September, and now October to get my mother her dentures. Unfortunately, we are leaving the country soon, and my mother will not have teeth, which is frustrating. The doctor called me back three minutes later, and her rude behavior took me aback. She ranted about my mother not giving good impressions, and her bites were weak, resulting in them having to order Articulating paper. She insisted that my mother would have to come in two more times, but I declined the offer. I was further disappointed when she committed insurance fraud by billing the insurance and receiving payment when my mother did not even have the dentures in hand. The doctor informed me that I would only receive some of my money back, which I found unacceptable. I called the insurance, and they asked her to unbill my mother's insurance. If she refuses to return all the funds, we can do an investigation. Overall, I found the experience at Grace Dental unpleasant, and I am reporting it myself due to the doctor's arrogance, disrespectful tone, and lack of empathy. Overall, I am incredibly disappointed with the service provided by Grace Dental and would not recommend them to anyone. Their lack of empathy and professionalism was unacceptable, and I will report them accordingly. Thank you for your attention to this matter..
Communication was not good. The doctor produced a 15 phase treatment plan, but did not explain why $7,300 + (out of pocket - not covered by insurance) treatment was needed. Service at this office was very slow. Spent more than 1-1/2 hours there (mostly waiting) and did not get teeth cleaned. Office needs maintenance. Equipment is old, ceiling tiles are stained. Will not go back..
CAUTION APPOINTMENT REMINDERS. Yesterday I had the worse experience with Tebo dental in Lilburn. Upon reading all the reviews they have about the appointment reminders I know for a fact their system of “appointment reminders” is not good at all. I called on Monday, 3/13/23 to confirm both of my children’s dental cleaning appointments for Friday, 3/17/23. I did not get ask for the name of the front desk person who I spoke too. I have my call log record on my mobile number to prove that I did call them and spoke to them for 5 minutes. Anywho upon arrival yesterday the girl at the desk said that we did not confirm the appointment when they tried to text us therefore the appointment was cancelled. This is disappointing and bad customer service. I called on Monday to confirm the appointment. Why do you need me to confirm again? I spoke to a live person to confirm a few days before. Mind you, for the parent to take time off work without pay, checking out the children from school which making them lose academic time, driving to their office-waste of my time for nothing! I read many reviews that many people went through this same unfortunate disrespect from Tebo Dental. Who to blame? Front desk?! Scheduling team?! What a disappointment! If you continue to come here for service you might have to call everyday to confirm your appointment the week before the appointment and make sure you ask who you spoke too and might as well record your call with them so they don’t say something differently each time..
Went to our own pediatric dentist. Son is combative so we opt to be reffered out for his 3 cavities to be filled via IV sedation. So we were told Tebo Dental (Lilburn) does IV routinely. You need to know right off at my sons age IV is 100% covered because of his age no matter the procedure, I called my insurance to confirm before making an apointment with Tebo. Well we get in there and suddenly Tebo thinks he "needs" 6 caps for surface cavities that the dentist also says can be just watched/floss brush. Looking on the x-ray they would be squinters for sure. Well, woncha know I state I just want the cavitied filled as recommended by my dentist (he is having adenoids removed) Suddenly (and I called my insurance before this post after the apointment, so according to Tebo Dental) IV wont be covered if we are just doing the cavities. We need to do "some of the 6 caps" to get IV sedation covered. Horrible money grab..

The Lipson dental group team is amazing! If you are looking for a dentist in the Gwinnett area this is the place to go hands-down. Honest - reliable dental advice and the doctors do great work. I recently had Invisalign done through Lipson Dental and they made sure I was satisfied from start to finish! Plus you can watch ESPN while they work on you - What more can you ask for?.
