I've been a patient of Dr. MiHalo since he began practicing in LaPorte. His staff are friendly and long term. They are helpful. Dr. MiHalo is compassionate and has a sense of humor which helps make visits less tense. I haven't had problems with work he's done like I've heard patients of other dentists have had from time to time..

I've been a patient for over 10 years. They have outstanding service and very reasonable rates for cleanings/x-rays. The staff is very personable and they are efficient..

Rate & review Apex Family Dental - Murray, 5642 900 E, Murray, UT 84121 John Hu Your review will be posted publicly on the web. Learn more I came into Apex dental around March, in hopes of getting a deep cleaning done. At the time, I was told I had a 6-month waiting period for the deep cleaning part of the insurance to kick in. So on that 1st visit, I only had gotten the x-rays and a basic cleaning. An appointment was set in 6 months to do the deep cleaning. I enjoyed that particular visit with the doctor and staff. Shortly thereafter, to my disbelief, the office sent an $80 bill and now is claiming I had services performed that's over & beyond what my basic insurance covered. I walked in good faith and trusted I was in good hands at APEX. I would not have had any service performed had I known or been told my insurance wouldn't have covered it. That's the exact reason I chose to wait to do the deep cleaning when I was informed of the waiting period. Here's the kicker, after painstakingly waiting for 6 months, and especially planning my overseas family trip around the appointment time to return to SLC. The day before the appointment, I get a call from your office saying the deep cleaning NOW isn't covered on the insurance. Do you understand the level of frustration this has caused me? Now I'm being harassed, including getting repeat calls at dinner time by APEX office people threatening to go to collections for a $80 service that I wasn't aware of and had not approved of. Please help me, am I over-reacting? Again, the complaint is not against the doctor or the nurses and I know this is a business with expenses, but am I being unreasonable by feeling like this is hardly the right way to treat patients? If my insurance doesn't cover the services why not tell me upfront so I can find a dentistry that does accept it? Someone please get in touch to rectify this. Apex Dental

Dr. Kwant as a dentist is great, as are his hygienists. However, the office personnel are really careless and very difficult to work with. We have been trying to sort out a billing issue that was an error made by THEM for several months now and they still have not corrected the error or made an effort to work with us. We were patients for several years and will now be going elsewhere. I am not sure their staff is trained in insurance billing and they have demonstrated very poor customer service. I would strongly recommend you take your business elsewhere as the office staff does not care about customer service, they do not return your phone calls, and they are difficult to work with. We have been coming to Apex Dental for 2 years now and we love their staff. The hygienists are so great with my little kids, and the front desk staff is super friendly and accommodating. We also love Dr. Kwant! Highly recommend..
