Where do you even start? Terry is great, my husband hates going to the dentist, it was like pulling teeth to get him to go. I found Terry several years ago when he was in Newton. Terry worked wonders with my husband, he still is not the greatest on going but 90% better. We have even followed Terry to Kingman (a two hour drive one way) for his great work & personality!.
I went in to have my wisdom teeth removed on a Saturday morning, and here it is Monday, and I mostly feel great. It was my first time having any kind of surgery, I mentioned that fact to Dr. Koos' nurse Nancy and she assured me that I was in good hands. Everything from start to finish was a pleasurable experience at Ora. From the front desk staff coming out to introduce themselves to my sister and offering her coffee, to getting prepped for surgery, to the surgery itself going so smoothly, as well as the aftercare. Nancy asked what kind of music I liked, and had Alexa play Solange while I fell asleep. I was prepared to be in a lot of pain after surgery as during my consultation, Dr. Koos had informed me that because of the way my bottom wisdom teeth grew in, it may be difficult to remove the full teeth and it may cause me to have a bit more pain than a patient with wisdom teeth that weren't so impacted. Not only was he able to take out the full bottom wisdom teeth, but I barely have any pain at all. Dr. Koos and his staff have pain management under control. I was given ibuprofen immediately after coming out of surgery and given a prescription for a steroid, a painkiller and an antibiotic, as well as gel to put in my sockets that stops pain and keeps infections away.. They gave me a list of instructions to follow to make my healing easier and they also gave me a letter to give to work, just in case I needed more time off. Dr. Koos also personally called me to check on me and to answer any questions I had. I ended up losing my instructions after the second day, and also went through my gel pretty quickly as I am not too keen on heavy painkillers and relied on the gel and ibuprofen to ease my pain. I called in and asked if could purchase more gel and went and picked some up and was in and out in 10 minutes. Ora is the absolute best dentist office I have ever been to. The girls at the front desk are super kind and helpful, the nurses are amazing and Dr. Koos is an awesome dentist and genuinely kind! I will be recommending ORA to any and everyone..
I had a very pleasant experience getting an implant at Dr Koos's office. The staff are friendly, Dr Koos is very knowledgeable and experienced and the office, from waiting room to operating theatre, are very pleasant environments. It was a pleasure to be here. The implant is great. Couldn't have asked for more..
