The worst experience I have ever had . I had a severe toothache and he told me I needed a root canal. When you're in that much pain you don't question it you just want it to stop . He proceeded to do the root canal and by the time I got home the pain got significantly worse and I returned to his office the following day and he said we need to extract the tooth. He did the extraction then he looked at the tooth in his hand and said "well here's the problem, there's still another nerve left in the tooth that I just pulled out". I know the protocol for a dental diagnosis but when you're in that much pain you don't really think about anything other than the pain. It was at that point I realized he never performed an X-ray During my initial visit or my 2nd visit. By midnight I experienced the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. I had a dry socket and if you have never had one be thankful because it is unlike any pain that you will ever experience in your life. If he had done an X-ray during my initial visit he would have seen that I had an abscess tooth and he should have given me antibiotics and scheduled a follow up appointment. But because he never took a single X-ray I had to endure a root canal and an extraction of an abscessed tooth and then dry socket . At this point he knew what he had done. He sent me to my primary physician so that I could get a prescription for the strongest pain medication on the market and I still cried for 2 weeks. I could have avoided losing a tooth and 2 weeks of excruciating pain from a dry socket if he had not been so negligent. I asked him "why didn't you do an X-ray" ? He pointed to the corner floor of his office and laying on the floor under some dusty drapes was a broken X-ray machine. He is so incompetent and extremely dangerous. I have never given a review and hesitated to even write one, but I could not in good conscience let this happen to another person. **This Is A Very Strong Warming**.

Dr. Moore is an excellent dentist with many years of experience. He has a tooth extraction technique that never required me to have to use antibiotics or pain pills! Also if you have no dental insurance and are struggling financially they will set you up on a payment plan .
I've been to a number of different dentists over the years. All of them so far have been willing to listen and genuinely do try to help you within budget. Not this guy. The first words out of his mouth were, "you need crowns". He said this before I even told him exactly why I was there for a visit. Since crowns are not an option for me right now, he stopped me cold, and gave me the BUM'S RUSH out the door. He wasn't the least bit interested in me as a person or as a patient. I have a family member who gets better service at the local "Meharry dental school". I've been to a number of different dentists over the years. He's not an oral surgeon but he and his office staff made me comfortable and I would highly recommend this office they were wonderful to me and I had very little pain following my wisdom teeth extractions .It turned out better than they said ..
Pathetic job on one of my front teeth, he also did a crown of the wrong color. My smile looks like Indian corn thanks to this guy. Worse than pathetic. He reeked of booze. Honestly. You have been warned..
