I have been a patient at Dr Spurr's for several years and never had an issue until my visit to get my teeth cleaned yesterday. I no longer have dental insurance due to a job change. Every staff member I came in contact with made it a point to mention that I didn't have insurance and was a cash pay. Even the hygienist felt the need to state that that I was a cash pay with no insurance as I was checking out. This was done within a few feet of a packed waiting room. Not one time did I hear the payment status of any other patient being discussed. This was unprofessional. When I brought this concern to the receptionist, her response was "oh sorry".
