She did not speak to the patient or parent the entire time except to yank the patient by the mouth to turn their head and to say that the assistant will speak with us about our child’s teeth. Next visit she was equally non communicative and rough. We love the entire staff but have yet to have any conversation with the dentist. Our child is in quite a bit of pain after a simple filling. We have very much liked every other dentist any of us have been to. Nightmarish experience. We will never return!.
I was a dental assistant for over 40 years and I have never encountered such poor dentistry and disgraceful business ethics. Dr. Zabala made me a removable appliance that I could not chew with. It also was not stable when inserted. She said she would refund my money, but only refunded part of it. I am out $260 that she kept for “her time”! She made me sign a form that I accepted the appliance before I left her office. NEVER sign off on anything until you have tried it to chew with it! I had referred several people to her office. After hearing of this experience, they will not be returning to her office. So, her $260 for “her time” will end up costing thousands of dollars in lost business..
Thorough, honest, recommended only necessary treatment. Would definitely return..
