I absolutely love this place! Dr. Bessonet is always professional and will give you the best care you can find. He is no longer in my insurance network, but I have chosen to continue to see him because of the excellent service that I receive. The dental hygienists are nice. But if you have any sort of anxiety about going to the dentist then don't even bother to call. Calvin Bessonet has no bedside manner, he's rude and unproffessional. I felt extremely uncomfortable in his presence. I left before even doing the procedure..
I cannot say enough good things about this dentist office. I had called to setup an appointment after having severe pain. I was able to get a same day appointment right away. From the start I felt welcomed. I saw Lindsey to begin with, she was the BEST dental assistant I have ever seen. She explained everything to me in detail and reassured me I was in good hands. Then I saw Dr. Patel, he was GREAT also. Went into detail what the plan was and the possible problems we would run into. When it was time for my procedure I was nervous but comfortable with him helping me. We ran into some issues and things were worse than we had thought. He was very kind when I was emotional about the issues and continued to talk me through everything. I had a concern and called the office first thing the following Monday and was able to get in right away with no problems. Dr. Patel examined my mouth and reassured me I was okay. He even called a few days later to make sure I was still doing good. (no other dentist has ever checked on me) I have been to other dentist in the area who belittled me as if I were a child and I would never go back. I have never felt comfortable in 35 years with a dentist until now. I am finally able to get the work done I need and don?t dread going. Thank you to everyone at Dutchtown Dental!.
