STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM THIS OFFICE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR TEETH. My biggest regret is ever stepping foot into this office. I walked into the office with a very small chip in the corner of my front tooth, which had been bonded before without a problem and only required a small dab of bonding. Dr. Buccellato shaved down the completely opposite and untouched side of my tooth from where the chip had occurred. He shaved my tooth on an uneven angle and significantly decreased the length of it, so it’s shorter than the front tooth next to it and has impacted my bite by no longer making contact with my bottom teeth. The outer edge of the tooth is now jagged due to being shaved down on an angle and removing the natural curve. This irreversible action was done without my knowledge or consent. This may have also been due to Dr. Buccellato paying no attention while working on my tooth and instead engaging in small talk with the dental assistant the entire time. Afterwards I asked why this was done and he told me he thought one tooth was longer than the other, which was not the case. Dr. Buccellato then lied and tried to explain that bonding was stuck on my tooth (completely opposite side of where the chip was) and he was trying to remove it. He also shaved down the entire front surface of my tooth making it significantly thinned out (the picture of the impression shows this), so the tooth next to it sticks out significantly more than it. The back of the tooth was also significantly thinned out, which had no damage to it beforehand and was symmetrical with the other tooth. I had braces for several years and my teeth were perfectly flush prior to entering the office. He also shaved the bottom of the neighboring tooth slightly, so it’s now on an uneven angle as well; this was also done without my consent or knowledge and wasn’t even part of my office visit. Now the natural shapes of my two front teeth are destroyed. Dr. Buccellato was absolutely reckless with his drill. I was also in excruciating pain as a significant amount of tooth structure was removed without any numbing medication. I’m now left with irreparable damage that I will have to live with for the rest of my life as you can see in the before & after pictures, which explain themselves. I went to 3 dentists to try to repair the significant amount of tooth structure that Dr. Buccellato shaved off and the unnatural edges that resulted from being shaved on uneven angles, but the damage is irreparable. All of the dentists were completely horrified after seeing how Dr. Buccellato unnecessarily removed significant amounts of healthy tooth structure and altered the natural shape of my teeth. Nobody could understand why any dentist would ever do this – it makes it even more upsetting that it was done without my consent or awareness. The work that was done was completely reckless and destructive – no knowledgeable or competent dentist would begin shaving away someone’s two healthy front teeth. I’m absolutely devastated by the outcome of the dental work and wish I never stepped foot into this office; it has forever changed my life..
This guy suck both as a person and as a dentist. Not worth the hassle..
It used to be like pulling teeth to get my daughter to go to the Dentist. Then came Doctor Hammer! Awesome Dentist, but he's no longer at Ele-dent :(.
Incompetent dentist.Great at conversation,cleanings were done quickly,and ineffectively.His prices were higher than normal too.Waiting rroom was always empty,that should have been a clue..
She's the best dentist I've ever had. Nice knowledgeable really cares about her patient will stay after hours just to help you out And her work is amazing..
