I recently was referred to Dr. Elmore from the dentist I took my granddaughters to. The youngest had 11 cavities and I could not find a dentist that used sedation on anyone under 12. She was seen on the 14th at her office and we had a problem-their insurance was ending 7/30/17. She made sure to fit her in ASAP because without insurance the cost would have been phenomenal. I found the Dr and her staff to be very caring and compassionate. They went above and beyond to help us out in this situation. Dr. Elmore treats her patients with a lot of caring and at the hospital she made it very pleasant and non threatening for a very scared 7 year old! I would highly recommend Dr Elmore to anyone who wants an excellent and caring Dentist. I noted a comment below about the Dr. being rude-I am a medical professional -have been an RN x 38 years and trust me, I have worked with many "Rude" doctors over the years. Dr Elmore is far from rude and she does communicate very well and in terms everyone can understand. She takes time to show you pictures and explain what she did. My son has had to get treatment here two times in two years. She is a sweet doctor, she is kind to the kids and she did not make me feel quilty or play the blame game. At the hospital her hospitality is amazing, she pays for your parking, for you to eat while your there and sends your child home with everything they need to recover for the next day or so...
I feel Dr. Elmore has passion in regards to helping children who are in need of dental service, but she needs to learn how to communicate with people without coming across rude. I took my child to have work done and I was not aware of the time slot that the child was going to be seen. I explained my situation to her to see if there was a way I could be moved up to earlier time since I had to be at the hospital at 8am. Instead of explaining to me on how she does things with her patients she was rude. I told her I wanted to see what she could do for me as one professionally to another who have busy schedules and should be understand last minute things happened and you have to roll with the punches. She dismissed my concerns without any empathy. Dr. Elmore I respect what you do, because its important for our children to have healthy teeth, but please learn how to respect others time and titles as well its never what you say its how you say it. Nobody should feel like they are inferior to you we are the same and deserve equal respect..
