Dr. Bhargava was excellent with me about 2+ years ago. Fixing/Replacing a broken outer insisor. But I find out 11/02/22 he's no longer at a new ownership now, dentist in Orange... but he's all the way up in Enfield, Ct. And Manchester,Ct at a Dental Chain group up there. :-( Too far for me now! I recently visited Dr. Wang (Dr. Dental, Derby, CT) with tooth pain; he recommended a root canal, which he performed immediately. His team was excellent; the procedure went perfectly & my tooth felt great. Dr. Wang took his time explaining the problem & was genuinely a very caring person. Ultimately, I needed an apicoectomy after the root canal (at no fault of Dr. Wang); there was an infection surrounding the tooth at the root. Dr. Wang suggested I get a second opinion. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Wang & his team & will have my family continue visiting him for their dental needs..
Big issue with billing insurance. Doesn't always properly do it and bills patients. Not timely in doing this. Doesn't explain ahead of doing a procedure what the patient's balance will be..
I truly hate going to the dentist but this place made it easy and affordable! It is clean all around which is important. They were all very professional, the dentist explained what was happening throughout the process, and they were all friendly. Then to top it off, it was super affordable!! I actually went back the next day to take care of my cavity. So happy I found this place!.
I am very happy with my experience. I really hate going to the dentist, it always seems there is something wrong with my teeth. They were very professional and didn't push me to get dental work I can't afford. Everything was explained to me fully with a cost for each service and I was able to pick what I would get done And when so I could afford it. They took great care with the xrays and cleaning. I have been to hack dentists that charge a fortune and do a horrible job. This is not the case at Dr Dental. If you are skeptical about going to dentist try them you will change your mind..
Dr. Dental is your no frills kind of dentist, but they get the job done well. My experience with them spans over 3 years, so I've gotten to know them. Keep in mind that they are in the low budget dental care business. For $57 you can get x-rays, a check-up and a cleaning. That's the lowest price I have found anywhere. Although the price is low, you do get rather good care. The dentist does the cleaning, not a hygienist. You get expertise, but sometimes they are running from patient to patient with no break. What you don't get is the spacious waiting room, latest magazines, or completely private room (there are no doors in the rooms), but you do get a TV on the ceiling. Best thing about Dr. Dental is the ability to just walk in for a cleaning. On a day that I am running errands, I'll just stop in to see if they have an opening. Basically, it's a 50/50 shot that I can get a cleaning then pick up groceries. In short, Dr. Dental is an excellent value!.
