I called and made an appointment after my fiancée recommended Lee because I had a bad toothache. When I got there they did a 120.00 x-ray and told me AFTER the x-ray I needed a regular dentist because they didn't pull teeth, that they were periodontist, still wondering why they didn't tell me that when I called them. Bad Experience and was robbed of 120.00, Now off to Yelp and Social Media to spread the word about this Shyster. Neither me or my fiancée will be back to this guy. I wish these places would let you post negative stars..
My experience today at this office was very frustrating. I would not recommend going to seek service here to any one. I was scheduled for an appointment for a new patient package that included an exam and a cleaning only to be told almost two hours into waiting that my cleaning would have to be rescheduled to a later time today or a later date. I found this to be very unprofessional with no consideration for the me as a patient or my time. I am well traveled because of my line of work and have had to seek services at other dental offices,(with no affiliation with monarch dental) in the past;i say this to say i have never had this type of unprofessional experience where a patient is scheduled for service only to be told impromptu after wasting several hours of their day waiting for the service that it will have to be rescheduled to a later time or date. Their exact words were,"we will see if we can squeeze you in today". The receptionist was quick to come to the area where i was waiting for my dental cleaning with paper work listing off what the pricing would be for the services the dentist determined i would need based on the oral exam and xray that was performed, but could not provide an answer as to when i would be getting the dental cleaning for which i was given an appointment for today would occur. Every dental office i have ever visited has always provided a dental cleaning on the same date as my scheduled oral exam with in the time frame of the scheduled appointment time i was given. It is very unprofessional to surprise a patient midway into their visit with, rescheduling the service for which they came in for to a later date or time. The receptionist's response to my concern is that this was their process for new patients and gave me a phone number for customer service. I did not get the cleaning i took time out of my busy schedule to come in for today because of this. I do not understand their rationale for not informing me as a patient prior to my appointment that the service i would be scheduled for would not be guaranteed to take place on the date of my appointment;this information would have given me the option to choose a different dentist for my service. In hind sight, the service area i was placed in while waiting for this cleaning was unkempt and made me question the hygiene practices of this place so perhaps it was a good thing that they did not perform my cleaning today..
I have spent my 75 years being afraid of dentists because of a bad dental experience as a child. Recently, I needed an extraction for a broken tooth under the gum. After freaking out for weeks I saw Dr. Wallace who has an amazing bedside manner if you will, and his entire staff is first class all the way. He explained every step of the process and it was exactly as he said. The anesthesiologist, Jeremy, put my mind at ease as well. What a great team that gives outstanding service to patients..
I have tremendous dental anxiety and Dr. Wallace and his staff, especially his CRNA Jeremy, were wonderful to me. I can be a hot mess, but they treated me with respect, much patience, and good humor. I would highly recommend them..
Dr. never really discussed full disclosure of choices. My decision was based on him saying it would be easy and he only wished everyone's was so easy. Itemization of cost showed more than was necessary and there was definitely overbilling of charges I had to take off. Wanted to bill my ins. co. for surgical center when I was not using it. Made it sound like pt. was getting a freebie if ins. didn't pay the fee. It sounded and still sounds sketchy. I could write more but am out of charactrs.
