My experience with this practice was strange to say the least. Upon arrival to my consultation I entered and wasn't greeted or even acknowledged for about 4-5 minutes while the receptionist stared at her computer as the dental assistant and another woman who didn't even look like she even worked there (jeans and a t shirt with a large food stain across the front) began to argue right in front of me. The specialist was vague and hard to get straight answers out of and essentially was going to do nothing that my regular dentist would have done but there fees were significantly higher? I did set up and appointment to come back but canceled a week before hand which seems like and ample amount of time. They didn't have my much flexibility on there next appointment so I was stuck with a time that didn't really work that well but I needed to get the work done soon. Unfortunately I had to cancel that one as well so I called a week ahead of time again and no one answered so I left a voicemail to call me back. I called again later that day and still didn't get and answer so I called one more time before closing and still didn't receive and answer so I left a second voicemail to confirm I would not be available the following week. I never heard from them again to follow up or anything. I called in when my schedule was more open a couple weeks after and the receptionist told me I was NO LONGER WELCOME TO USE THERE PRACTICE do to my no call no show as if this was my place of employment and I was fired??? I have never heard of such a thing anywhere in any sort of medical/ dental practice. I asked why they hadn't replied to my voicemail and she said that they never checked there voicemail which I don't understand how that is a patients fault she didn't do her job and if they hadn't received the voicemail why they didn't call before the appointment to remind or confirm. Very unprofessional and honestly the strangest encounter I have ever had with a dental or medical practice..
First painless Root canal I have ever had. No pain during or after. Went to work right afterwards. They take their time to make sure you are all numb where you need to be..
Dr. Vess was a wonderful dentist and was very gentle. Would recommend him to everyone..
My experience with Dr. Lenk and her office was just terrific. I'm writing from the perspective of being her patient. I'm also writing from the perspective of being a Practicing Dental Hygienist, practicing in Richmond Va. Yes I drove all the way to Daleville regularly for over two years to be treated by her. Yes there are many top flight Orthodontists in Richmond that I could have been treated by. But, after going for a consult with her, during which I observed her patient care, her staff, her office as a whole, I knew that this was the place for me and my mouth. I observed her attention to detail, staff knowledge of their work, treatment methods, and was very impressed. Patient care is a passion of mine, as is office cleanliness. This office is just tops in everything. It is impressive that while paying close attention to the details, they don't lose sight of the big picture. Every patient gets individual care, and still they stay on time. Unless you have worked IN a dental office, you can't understand just how hard that is to pull off. I would gladly make that drive again for that quality of care. I have recommended Dr. Lenk and her staff to friends and to patients that I see in my office in Richmond. I LOVE MY NEW SMILE..
I have the unique position of not only being a proud parent of Dr. Lenk but also a patient. At each visit my daughter did an excellent job on me (who by the way is a challenge), but more than that I observed her giving each patient her undivided attention, taking the time to listen to not only the patient but to parents. Each patient was informed and understood the effect any adjustment would have. Her ability to communicate with staff and clients in an effective but caring manner is amazing. She does something that all patients wish their doctors would do and that is she treats them as she would want her family to be treated. Proud parent? You bet!.
I had a terrible experience here. My son, who is 12 years old was scheduled to get braces here. We ended up waiting over an hour and a half, even though we arrived on time for our appointment. On top of that, the staff were extremely rude to me and wouldn't respond to my questions and inquiries regarding the treatment procedure. Overall, we were treated so poorly that we decided to change orthodontists!! Avoid at all costs!!.
