I wish I could give this dentist negative stars. I have united healthcare (not through work) and whenever I called him to ask if he took it he responded, "Like welfare?" And I said "Like medical assistance, but sure." He continued to say "I don't take it, but I should start since that's all anyone has anymore." He then started laughing and said "I'm assuming you can't afford it." I said "Well yes I just graduated college and I'm 22 and live with my parents." He said "I'm assuming you're from Charleroi? You could try some clinics in town or ask around to your friends, I'm sure they'd know." Overall I am extremely disgusted that a man can have the nerve to discrimate against someone due to their need for medical assistance. You should never judge someone based on their income and I hope no one gives this man any business again. I hope he feels as embarrassed as he made me feel..
Dr. Charletta and his staff are the very BEST!! I was extremely nervous about my appointment, however from the moment I walked into the office and was greeted by Lisa, I was put at ease. Lisa, Joni, and the doctor were so friendly and welcoming. Dr. Charletta took his time with me and explained things so that I had a clear understanding of what was happening with my tooth. I was treated as an individual, not as another patient on an assembly line. I will be forever grateful for their care .
If there was a negative star I would give it one. The wife who runs the front office has severe dementia however she is still entrusted with your medical files & billing. The doctor himself has the onstage of Parkinson with his hands shaking. The building (mind you the tools used go into YOUR mouth) is INFESTED with Cock Roaches & the building is full of water leaks and mold. The foundation below is literally deteriorating from all the moisture & mold. DO NOT GO HERE EVEN IF IT'S A DENTAL EMERGENCY! YOU ARE MUCH SAFER GOING TO ANYONE ELSE BUT THIS DENTIST. They also have an office in McMurray, I have never been there but I can only imagine ignoring the issues to the extent they do in their Charleroi location (due to not wanting to invest money into the practice due to their ages & planning to eventually retire) I can only surmise the McMurray location is just as frightening. The board of health should be called & this practice should be shut down..
