Had my first and last appointment today. After I sat in the waiting room listening to worship songs on the Christian radio station I got to overhear the staff discussing Jesus two chairs over for most of my exam. How unprofessional. Somebody either assumed that every patient and staff member was into Jesus, or didn't care. If you want to have a business aimed at only religious clientele, call yourselves Camano Island Christian Dentistry and put a big cross on the building. It's not for me, I was offended, and I won't be back. .
I've been going to this dental office for 11 years. Every staff member in this dental office, from the reception person to the dentists themselves, go the extra mile. They will educate you on what and how to change your dental habits to save on future problems. If a problem arises, they talk with you providing you with all options. They are patient with one of our family members who probably doesn't deserve patience at this point because of her attitude. I am in my 60's and have NEVER had dental care like what our family receives at Camano Island Dental Center..
I had a very different experience. They were helpful to me, and as a person who despises going to the dentist in general, they did a great job, especially Sharon my hygienist. After working with her, my gums actually stopped receding and IMPROVED for the first time in 20 years..
Some training really needs to be done at this location. The people they have running their front desk seem upset to be there, and too busy to even listen to you. On the off chance that you have something that may be helpful or constructive, they just blow you off anway and treat you like you are trespassing in their office. Find another office..
