I had dental implants with Dr Powers they seem to be ok BUT do not get dentures. My dentures do not fit correctly and were not adjusted by the dentist but his dental assistant several times without any proper measurements. I have an over bite and they cut into my lip and are crooked and hurt. I went back so many times and when I went back one final time for help I discovered the business was sold even though the sign still shows Dr. Powers name. The new dentist said he couldn’t fix these and I need new dentures again! These are just a little over 1 year old! I went to 3 other dentists also and all said the same. I am out the cost of the dentures and now I have no insurance and have to try and get new dentures. I am not new to dentures and have had dentures over 40 years so it is not just getting “used” to them. I tried for a year!.

My husband had mini dental implants put in 6 years ago by Dr. Powers. This year, after taking 3D images of his nasal cavity we find out his nonstop sinus leakage and infections are due to the implant piercing his sinus cavity. We are $10,000 in trying to fix this mess. The implants are finally out on the one side and the sinus is healing. Now another $12,000 to put teeth back in. We just heard that it is not possible to do a bone graft where he lost bone around the implant. What a mess. So this.
HORRIBLE DENTIST OFFICE. WILLNOT BE RETURNING. IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, STAFF IS RUDE AND DOESN'T RETURN PHONE CALLS. EVEN WORSE IF YOU GO THERE WITH SEVERE PAIN (I.E. A DRY AOCKET) THEY REFUSE TO PRESCRIBE YOU PAIN PILLS YOU DESPERATELY NEED. INSTEAD THEY WILL PASS THE BAR AND REFER YOU TO YOUR PRIMARY OR THE HOSPITAL. NO POINT IN GOING TO A DENTIST THAT DOES NOT DO HIS JOB..
I don't know where to begin with this so here it goes. I was a New Patient here and will never be going back. I wasn't greeted by the receptionists at the front I was more scolded BC I arrived 8 minutes late to my appointment. She said that BC I was a new pt I had to get there a quarter before my scheduled appt. Hmm no one said that to me on the phone nor did they call the day before to confirm..so my fault I guess right.? Continuing on the Dr. Had time to take me. A lovely da took my x rays(the only one that was nice) and the Dr came on after. No introduction by him no friendly smile just "you've got some major problems here". No sh$% that's why I'm here! Anyway pulled up the xrays and in gibberish told me what was going on then left the room! Awesome! I had the da explain it to me and I still didn't understand because clearly I'm not a dentist. I will never return to this place ever! Going back to California to my dentist that takes the time to talk and explain to her pts!.
It is a shame that these are the only two reviews on Dr. Bobs Dental Care. I absolutely love this office, Dr. Mark is incredible and my hygienist Amanda makes coming to the dentist comfortable and easy. I had such a bad tooth ache and they got me in the next day. I wouldn't ever go anywhere else..
