Best Dentist In City - Dr. Kalpana Kaveti, DMD

I called them 3 days in a row to try and make an appointment and only got an answering machine. I left two messages and the following week I did finally get a call back and made an appointment to have a tooth pulled. I had already been told by 2 other dentists months before that this tooth, for a number of reasons could not be saved. So I went to the appointment. The assist was very nice and friendly. Then the dentist came in. He is definitely not a people person. I told him I needed a tooth pulled. He looked in my mouth for not even 30 seconds and told me that he can put a crown on it and that its not totally covered under my insurance so he needs $800 to do it. That was insane for him to even suggest a crown. On top of the numerous issues with this tooth, it was also extremely loose. I told him I didn't want a crown and I left. A few days later I went to yet another dentist. He told me a crown wouldn't last a week on that tooth and I'd be wasting my money. The dentist at Bradley Family Dental was either ignorant, a scammer in need of cash or both. .

I was terrified to go here given the reviews and my general fear of dentistry. I came once for a 4pm appointment and waited so long with my daughter that I decided to leave. Then my tooth kept hurting and I decided I needed to give it another try. I was so pleasantly surprised! Reception was friendly and quick with check in and my insurance processed this time! My wait time in the waiting room for a 9am appointment was 20 minutes. The hygienist was very friendly and I enjoyed the positive communication between all of the staff. They communicated respectfully and professionally. The hygienist I had was very attentive my concerns as my tooth was experiencing nerve pain. She did all of the cleaning around it and even used local numbing solution on it for me since even water touching it would hurt. She took her time cleaning my teeth and encouraged me while she was doing it. It was a very positive and even relaxing experience. The dentist came in a timely fashion and was friendly and I could trust him. He explained my dental status to me. I need a root canal and they got me an appointment in a just a couple weeks. I feel great about my experience and look forward to going back to complete my dental work. The facility was also clean and they used proper procedures..

I had a scheduled appointment for 2:30 PM at the end of April this past year, and wasn't seen until 4:45 PM. It's normal for them to double or triple book because they have frequent no-shows. My hygienist was very good and told me about the special times the office offered to those with private insurance (employer provided). Even with this information, I'm not going back to this place because of that wait time. I left work early for this 2:30 appointment that was over 2 hours late. Ridiculous. I realize the dentist is Nigerian, and being later than a specified time is acceptable in some cultures, but it's not here. This is not how to run a business in America..
