Best Dentist In City - Dr. Kalpana Kaveti, DMD

Dr. Jack Davidson Jr, MD

We went to Dr Davidson for a "2nd Opinion" (not interrogation) so we could be educated on options for our son. We always get 3 opinions before doing anything permanent; health including dental. Instead we were interrogated for 90 min by office staff and Dentist over why we were there, why we didn't know about a permanent crown. First when we called to set up appt the person did not ask us for detailed history, just panoramic from most recent dentist appt and referral. We did request from dentist and have the email where we signed the release authorization. We showed up and office said they have nothing and requested again. Then we are taken to room while they awaited those. The assistant proceeds with intake. Then interrogation begins. The assistant kept asking over and over about why we're there, then Dr came in almost an hour later and proceeded to ask for almost 20 min the same. We explained over again the same details of each Dr our son had seen to fix various dental needs he had, what each one said, fixed from: temporary crown to braces to hematoma scar to root canal...all for same tooth, to an opinion on the permanent solution for the tooth both the general dentist in July/21 and Maxillofacial Dr in 11/22 said: he would need once adult teeth are in & jaw alignment corrected. Since we ALWAYS get 3 opinions we made an appt with Dr Davidson to find out his opinion on the tooth. Our son turns 14 in a month, the Maxillofacial Dr did not say there was a specific age but Dr Davidson said 18. Great, no problem. We are here to get educated. But rather than educating us he proceeded with interrogating about why we are there for an implant instead of a permanent crown. Mind blown, no other Dr had told us a permanent crown was an option. I explained this to him but it was like he was not listening, kept asking us again why implant not permanent crown. Then assistant told him "she didn't even remember name of Dr who did root canal." Sorry no one is perfect. I hope she never has to worry about being chastised for not remember one detail out of a thousand because I remember the office name of the dr, I remembered every other dr, date, procedure...with 5 kids and life non the less. Again we let Dr know no one told us about the permanent crown option. We would definitely be looking at that had it been told to us as we have followed every direction we have been told for the last 2 years by our son's dental team. Dr went back to the interrogation. We said why are you interrogating instead of calling the Dr's and asking yourself because we are just the patient and not the Dr with a degree where he then points out his 34 years. Well that is great, why don't you give us your "KIND" opinion. We said if you are going to continue to put us through interrogation then we are going to leave at which time he tossed his hands, in an exaggerated manner told his assistant not to charge us & told us to go. WOW what great service! Now THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD HAVE GONE had they had any ounce of forethought for every situation they may encounter: First when a NEW patient calls for an appointment do a Detailed intake so that you have ALL the Dr's associated with the patient and if you need anything from them you can have it in time for the appointment so the patient is not waiting (as we were for almost an hour). Then review the chart before you meet new patient (at least every other Dr we've ever been too does this). So when you walk in you are not repetitively asking the same questions over and over again and waiting for documents from doctor's. Then when you meet the patient and ask them for their history you are prepared. Maybe this is just a medical policy and not a dental policy...all Dentists should do it...Everyone in our family works in some form of medical, PA in ICU at Level 1 Hosp to RN to RT/CT, etc.. Then after talking to patient you can say "implant is not your best option, you should look at a permanent crown which can be done by a General Dentist." Literally no interrogation needed. Just kindness!!.

Skylight Dental Care

What a waste of time. First and last time I go to this unprofessional-money hungry dental place. If you have insurance, this is not the place. They will find a way to take money from you regardless. Their front staff personnel lacks sympathy, care and tact. They could care less. Here is frase for you "my job is to collect money before you can be sent to the back ... period".

Dr. Adam Hunt, DMD

My family have been going to this practice for long years before Dr Hunt joined. Happy with cleaning and filling like simple jobs. As far as major work for crown on molar please go to more experienced DDS in the area and read reviews of others. My son got couple crowns done and had to go back several times to correct because bite was not right and causing pain. Each visits Dr Hunt filed down keeps saying it is fixed but was not. Got fed up with multiple visits and same problems. 3.5 yrs later needed root canal and crown on same molar. They deny the refund/reimburse as insurance guarantee 5 yrs for the crown. We no longer using Dr Hunt and I want others to be aware..

Aspen Dental

So far so good. Like how everyone was professional and friendly. Will give 5 stars after my work is completed. I know dental stuff hurts no matter, but some doctors are gentler than others, so I can give a more accurate review after my experience. Really like how the process went smoothly in getting a plan of action for my horrible teeth ????.
