I highly recommend and can’t give enough accolades to the Cameo Dental Specialist team at La Grange! During my emergency visit, they provided exceptional dental care! I had been suffering excruciating jaw pain for nearly a week, told by my regular dentist that I needed a root canal, but had to wait four more days to have it attended to, which seemed an eternity of pain. Persuaded by family, I sought a second opinion and was referred to Cameo, thank god! This outstanding team took me immediately, and provided me with superlative care! From the lovely receptionist waiting in the hall for me because I was in such pain to Dr. Taylor Newman who performed the surgery, the entire team there is remarkable! Dr. Newman, a gift to her field, aptly diagnosed a cracked tooth that infected the root, explained my options, and gave her expert recommendation. Then, she painlessly extracted the troublesome tooth, while continually checking that I was feeling no discomfort. The instant she removed the tooth, the unbearable pain I had endured was gone! Adding a big bow to that gift, she called me early that same evening to check on me. Dr. Newman truly is a miraculous professional! Thank you so very, very much for your concern and outstanding care!.

I am retracting my previous review I posted on Google Maps that I entered when I was in an “altered state”. They won’t let me delete it, nor will they allow me to edit it. The long and protracted version of my review is that they actually do good work. One thing that I was not happy with was them telling me that ALL of my uppers had to be removed, even my two molars on both sides. They looked OK to me so I asked for a 2nd opinion. The periodontist then did an evaluation and I explained that I wanted to keep my molars. She explained that it would be cheaper to take them out and have full dentures put in. The other thing that frustrated me was that they want full payment “up front” for all services. My dentist of 22 years had an unusual practice of allowing me to “float” my account and make monthly payments towards it. I guess the full payment policy is going to be the way it is anywhere I go now. I had to get money from my mom for these upcoming extractions and dentures..
