Dr. Richard Nichols, DDS

Dr. Nichols is very knowledgeable about many things and I value his experience. His manner is caring and conservative and end results are what the patient desires, a healthy mouth!.

They were very thorough and took their time to do a great job, while keeping me informed. They recommended getting my cavities taken care of in a timely manner. Gave me the cost so I knew since I do not have dental insurance. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend this dental office in Littleton..

Dr. Richard Nichols, DDS

After moving from Virginia, I was concerned about finding a dentist in our area of Colorado, being so far from Denver. Over my lifetime, I have had exceptional dentists who were also on the faculty in the dental schools. On the recommendation of our dental hygienist in Fairplay, CO, we were directed to see Dr. Richard E. Nichols. My husband and I were so impressed. The staff was very friendly and we found Dr. Nichol's care of the highest quality. We feel so fortunate to have found him..

Doctor Richard E. Nichols survives only by his smooth talk. When it comes to dentistry, he's a drilling disaster. The sole purpose of his business is to max out your insurance. His work is overpriced and they hit you with loads of surprise charges on your bill, zero integrity. When they say that, "You're all paid up!" Wait for the bill in the mail, or better yet, he'll leave something unfinished like a massive infection in your jaw or tooth to work on later for yet another giant fee. This infection will get increasingly painful and is a danger to your overall health. Once they've got you in excruciating pain they will extort you when you walk in by slamming you with thousands of dollars in extra work and costs. If they say something will cost X amount, take out your calculator and double or triple that. Hire an accountant and a lawyer before setting foot in any of Doctor Nichols' houses of pain. He's also incompetent. I had a tooth that didn't hurt. Nichols said there was a cavity in it. He filled the supposed cavity in my tooth but left a nice little infection behind under the filling. So, what was once a perfectly pain-free tooth was then in pain that got worse week by week. His office and his tools are dirty and covered with bacteria just waiting to jump in there. So, the tooth was infected and needed a root canal. Now comes the fun part, they'll do your root canal for a fee, but they're only joking about that. Then right before they're finished they pile on charges that your insurance won't cover, and then hit you with the 4-digit bill when you walk in for your appointment to finish what you already paid for in full. Being a woefully incompetent quack is only the first thing wrong with Richard E. Nichols. After he screws up your teeth, he turns into an extortionist, nothing more than a common criminal. Unless you want extreme pain while loosing all your teeth combined with bankruptcy, stay well away from Doctor "Tooth Infection" Nichols. You're better off doing nothing and then getting a pair of pliers and yanking them out yourself when they hurt..
