I had to cancel a procedure with this dentist mid procedure. There was no introduction or procedure overview from her or her assistant. They walked in and immediately started injections that were very painful. No warnings as to what I'd feel. When I protested she insisted it was going to hurt because she had to hit the nerve. When i asked why they were injecting more novacaine than usual fillings, she acknowledged she was going to drill thru the whole tooth to reach a hard to reach spot. I had no idea what she was doing and felt the immediate need to run. All i had was novacaine and my entire face is numb upto my forehead. I can occasionally feel sharp pain radiating thru the numbness. I'm really worried what the heck she did with that needle around my tooth nerve..

Fantastic Experience! I can't say enough good about Dr. Shaw!! Nobody likes to go to the Dentist, but I had to have work done. He checked it out, and laid out my options for me. Ultimately I decided that the best thing for me was an implant. It went so well, that I'm still in disbelief. I had two teeth extracted and an implant put in. I never even had to use any pain pills after any of the surgeries! That's a great Dentist!!!! If you need work done, he the one who I'd recommend- and if I could give him 10 stars, I would..
