The following is a personal opinion based on my interaction with Dr Whiteman's office and 50 plus years of going to the dentist. My experience today was in a word, horrible! In my opinion, there business practices boarder on unethical. I made an appointment specifically to get a chipped tooth repaired (I've had a bonded tooth repaired many times and it normally takes about 15 min's). Well, it appears they had no intention of repairing my tooth today! Today, I waited 35 min's and got charged $71 Dr Whiteman to look at the tooth and told to make an appointment to get it repaired! I've probably had chips in the bonding agents used to repaired teeth 10 or more times and never experienced this type of double appointment process and charging. Pretty sure their estimate to repair the tooth was higher than I've historically paid as well. I called the office following the "exam" and asked for the doctor to call me to discuss the matter. I was told "no" by the receptionist who said was was also the office manager. Guess I'll leave town to get my tooth repaired!.
I have been going to this office for years! since I was pregnant with my 27 year old daughter and this is the best place ever! Dr. Padgett who has since retired within last couple months takes the most time explaining everything and telling you Mam if this hurts raise your hand..
