Not a good experience. The office staff are rude and act annoyed if you ask any questions about your child’s care. Due to Covid children have to go into building alone without parent (which we understood and were ok with initially) even young children (3 and 4) and are brought back out to car with very little explanation of how the visit went. Recently my child was told that they needed a specific treatment on 2 teeth and when I asked the girl who brought him out to the car which teeth had the decay she replied “I don’t know” and didn’t offer to find this out for me or give me any other info. I was then expected to sign a form agreeing to the treatment and payment at the next appointment. I think that a parent has the right to know this information before agreeing and signing for any kind of treatment even if it is minor. I feel that if parents are unable to speak to the dentist directly at this time, that the staff that brings your child out should at least have accurate information or be willing to get it. We have had other issues with the office in the past as well regarding billing, which was corrected eventually, but the staff were very disrespectful until they realized they had made an error and then apologized and the tone totally changed. I’ve noticed several other reviews comment about staff attitude as well. Sadly, despite of these issues, the actual dentist seems to be quite good and knowledgeable, and my child really enjoyed seeing her, however the poor service of the support staff and lack of information provided about visits, make it an unpleasant experience overall and we decided to find a different provider due to this..
After a long time of procrastinating about visiting a Dentist, I finally got up the nerve to go. Some of my teeth in very bad condition...not only was I afraid of the pain it would cause to fix them but I was embarrassed to have anyone see them. I can not get over my experience with Dr. Hooked and his entire staff. From my first phone call, to leaving the office after my Dental work had been completed...it was nothing short of amazing. Not once did I feel embarrassed and honestly no pain. TY..
