If you need a dreaded ROOT CANAL, you\'d be well-advised to see Dr. Pratte. He is, by my personal experience and the expressed recommendation of collegues, the GOLD STANDARD endodontist in the San Gabriel Valley. Just days ago, my #30 molar was ravaged by a local dentist. I was left w/ 10 out of 10 pain, and needing corrective endodontistry. Our hygienist and oral surgeon suggested I call Dr. Pratte, who made time the next day; explained a reasonable course of action; skillfully relieved the pain; completely fixed the problem, over 2 sittings; and did so professionally, without trashing the dentist who botched the job. Separately, to \"traumatized\" patient below, who gave a one-star rating, wouldn\'t you rather wait for the anesthesia to take full effect than risk the pain of an ultra-sonic drill? Whether or not \"traumatize\" actually waited 2 hours, is debatable. But honestly, and knowing what I now know, if the DR. PRATTE said wait, I\'d do so to GET THE OPTIMAL RESULT!
