Dr. Moynihan gave me the most thorough dental examination I ever had and took the time to explain everything he was doing. If I weren't leaving the area, he would most certainly be my regular dentist..
When I started at BDC I had not been to a dentist in 10 years. Dr. Moynihan set up a program that got my teeth back to where they should have been, and he did it over an extended amount of time, which made it affordable. That was 15 years ago. Now with regular visits, I'm able to avoid problems, along with plan any work that has to be done ahead of time. The Staff is great and keeping the appointments within the scheduled time frame has always been a plus. Thank you BDC.
DO NOT GO!!! My husband visited Dr. Moynihan less than a week ago for a tooth extraction. Since the beginning, all my husband wanted was the tooth removed. Upon completing the X-Ray, Dr. Moynihan told him that he could save his tooth as he was too young to have it removed. Assuming that the "X-Ray" completed could tell that the tooth was savable, Dr. Moynihan proceeded in doing a filling. Surprisingly, after the procedure was completed and my husband was getting ready to pay, Dr. Moynihan "referred" my husband to a Dental Surgeon to have the tooth removed. Yes, REMOVED!!! Apparently the tooth could not be saved and he had to remove it or else the pain will still be there. Of course, my husband could not walk out without paying and he's lucky I was not at the visit to stop him from paying. Please understand, like many out there, we work paycheck to paycheck and don't have money to spend like that. Why not tell him the truth and just charge him for the X-Ray fee, which was a lot less than the total fee given at the end?? I was extremely upset and 3 days later, my husband is once again in pain and searching for a Dentist to have his tooth removed. PS-The receptionist was extremely respectful and nice to talk to. It's just so sad that we had to go through this..
