2I had over $35,000 worth of dental work at Dr. Dires office. I saw Dr. Dire for my front teeth to be capped and other restorations to my back teeth. My front teeth were ground down and caps were put on, only to my dismay: they were huge, I mean they were so bad I can't imagine how he let me walk out of his office. When I tried to talk they clanked together. I was going through chemo at the time so all of this was very hard to take. I finally phoned Dr. Dire and complained. He had me come back in and proceeded to try and grind the caps down to fit my mouth. I think I had two visits where he worked on them and was sent home. My teeth looked horrible. I phoned Dr. Dire again and he scheduled an appointment to remove the caps and to re do them. He blamed the problem on my mouth being so small; my mouth is not small I am small. My teeth were again drilled down and the caps were replaced with new ones. This was a miserable experience. When I got the new caps they looked like caps!!!! I chose Dr. Dire to do my dental work because he promised me a natural smile that would last. I ended up getting two root canals on my front teeth after the final work: all the drilling and removing caused root damage. One of my front teeth had to have a root canal twice and is now so weakend that it will probably eventually fall out. I am looking once again for a dentist who can give me a natural smile and will probably need to get implants because of the damage to my teeth. On top of all of this the teeth keep breaking or coming off. I chose Dr. Dire to do my teeth because that is what I wanted to avoid. Dr. Dire fixed the teeth that kept breaking or falling off until he was no longer liable and then I was charged the maximum each time I came in. I should have saw an attorney after the first set but was too sick at the time to get into a legal issue.
