My son had a visit last month to have tooth sealant, which is totally preventative. By federal law, all the preventative care should be 100% covered. But Toothbud filed the claim with a code for consultation. My insurance told me that code is for visits to diagnose problems like dental emergency. I called Toothbud but they refused to change the code, saying we were there for consultation because it was our first visit. However, the truth is that we didn't have any consultation service. The doctor looked at the teeth for less than 1 minute (!) before the sealant process, and there was no discussion for anything. It's hard for me to believe they want to put a separate charge on us for looking at the teeth for something like 30 seconds without any conversation, and they call that consultation!.

I never give bad reviews but in this case, I think it is necessary to let people know what I experienced at Red Bud Dental in Round Rock, Texas. Last year (2019), I had pain because of a crack implanted tooth. I scheduled a new patient appointment to repair the tooth. The tooth was saved, a root canal was done. I had a missing tooth next to it. A bridge was also performed. Went back several times because of discomfort and pain. Discomfort was always felt. One year later, I started having some swelling and pain. X-rays shows that I had an infection where the root canal was performed. I was given antibiotics for the infection. Was referred to an Endodontics to be seen as soon as possible. Very bad experience at this dental office.
I had a bad experience here and was treated without a doctor knowing what was going on. I heard from another patient who is a friend of mine that they were told their problem was an issue and they changed doctors due to coverage and discovered their teeth are beyond repair and is now getting them removed..
Two crowns and counting. He has done a great Job each time..
Dr. Jaeckle was - very professional. - very knowledgable. He took the time to explain the issue and the recommended procedure. He gave the patient excellent care. -Staff very professional and courteous. I highly recommend him, as an excellent dentist who keeps up with the newest dental research and protocols..
