4Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. The unprofessionalism exhibited by Dr. Scheele is unlike anything I have ever experienced. The office staff is kind and I honestly feel bad for them, they are not set up for success and the practice is incredibly mismanaged. Everything was wrong since the second appointment (right after we signed the treatment contract ironically), wrong expander ordered for my daughter, billing completely convoluted, my kids wires regularly popped out immediately after adjustments and I was told to just cut them off with toenail clippers and wait until their next monthly appointment because they are too busy to fit them in to get it fixed. I’ve been threatened to be sent to collections for bills I never received, I have never paid a late bill in my life. The embezzlement cause against the former front desk woman was broadcast to all patients which was also incredibly unprofessional. I ended treatment after Dr. Scheele tried to charge me $400 to re-glue my son’s expander which fit improperly from the day it was put it. After being told all accounts were current and closed upon treatment conclusion I received a surprise call three months later and told I owe them $1000 with no details or explanation. Took a month for them to produce two account statements, I then offered to speak to Dr. Scheele about the situation and she was rude, condescending, didn’t listen to anything I had to say, told me I was interrupting her when I answered her question, and the grand finale was when Dr. Scheele accused me of colluding with the former receptionist who improperly set up my sons account, and then she hung up on me. I was floored. I would never treat a customer, patient or any person the way Angela Scheele treats her patients. She comes across very kind at first it’s all a lie… stay away.
