4My experience with Dr. Banks was terrible. While she may be a good surgeon, they did not treat me well at all. The overall experience has been awful. After the surgery I had trouble coming out of the anesthesia. Because the staff wanted to go home they forced me into recovery and made me walk to my car before I was ready. I was throwing up (after oral surgery) because I was so dizzy. The following week I was in server pain. When I would call to ask what more I could do, the staff didn't seem to care. They told me to take ibuprofen. I was already taking it in the highest dosage every 6 hours and Extra strength Tylenol as well. When I told them this, they said "That should be enough". I couldn't sleep or eat for a week. When I came in for my check up they gave me a syringe to clean it out. This immediately helped the pain. I don't understand why they didn't give this to me earlier, seems like a simple fix. The staff didn't check to see if my insurance covered the procedure. When I asked about it I was told my dental and medical would cover it. They made me pay in advance. Apparently there is no incentive for them to work with getting your money back, because they all ready are paid. It has been 6 months, and I have to call them constantly to get them to even check on whats going on.
