I paid $36 extra dollars for the nitrous oxide because I am really scared of going to the dentist, which is why my teeth are in such bad shape. First of all, I could not feel the nitrous at ALL, when he put those needles in my mouth that burn like a thousand wasps usually you can breathe really deep and the gas helps you a bit, calming you down, but I felt nothing but excruciating pain...I literally had tears running down my face and was shaking. That plus some disparaging remarks made about the shape my teeth were in were not very pleasant. Terrible bedside manner. I will not be back. Plus he told me I could drink through a straw and smoke after six hours, so I did, and a friend, who is a nurse, said you are supposed to wait two days so now I will probably get a dry socket.
