Family Dentistry

Madsen and Placa Family Dentistry over billed me $1769.00. When I questioned them, the billing clerk was rude and argumentative. It took them five months to prepare a corrected bill, they were trying to collect the difference between the contractually allowed charges and what they bill, which is ILLEGAL! Additionally, their equipment is outdated and they make you come back for numerous unnecessary visits, just to increase your bill. I have had to have two root canals redone, suffered immense pain and had to miss work because of their incompetence. The endodontist that I went to, to have the two root canals retreated, said they were terrible root canals. They never matched the colors of my teeth correctly, one of my crowns is currently loose, and the dentist actually cut the inside of my mouth with the drill one time and tried to blame me. How could I possibly cut the inside of my cheek when my mouth was open? No apology was given for the billing “error”, they threatened to send it to collections if it wasn’t paid by the end of the month. I only received the “corrected bill” 6 days ago! Bottom line, I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.
