2Although the insurance company is partly to blame, I will never go to this dentist again. They neglected to verify my insurance before my appointment even though I received three calls from the office to double check my SSN# and confirm my appointment. So I took the afternoon off to make sure that I arrived for my appointment on time less I be charged for a missed appointment. When I get there, I'm told that my insurance has not yet been verified and I'm asked to verify my my social again. Since my appointment was scheduled for 4:00, I knew that I wasn't going to be seen that day. If there was a problem with the insurance, there was no way that we would be able to get the right people on the phone at the end of the day. I mention to the counter guy that if they had called me earlier, I worked with them to solve the problem and reschedule over the phone as needed instead of taking time off of work to sit in their waiting room. He smiles back and says something dumb and unrelated with a blank look on his face. So I sit down to wait. I will say that he did make an effort to get my insurance verified, called my employer etc, but the whole time he is whispering with what turns out to be the office manager. I can here their whole conversation. When I hear "it's getting late, she'll have to reschedule," I was ready to flip my lid. RESCHEDULE!!!??? When I'm I going to be able to reschedule? I already took the afternoon off of work to come to their office...Can I charge them for the missed appointment? What a waste of my time!!! They could have at least offered my a free toothbrush or something...At least try to make my day better...Don't go here...and if you do tell them that they need some time management classes...
