9Dr. Friedman has been very sweet and thorough with my daughter. We were in for an evaluation and she had some time (thanks to COVID!) so we went ahead and had her braces put on that same day! Quite the time saver for us. Always accomodating.

2May 2007: I see Dr. Gill to fix a filling. She can't numb my mouth, shot after shot no dice and acts dubious as if I'm faking the pain. Finally on the fifth shot we can mostly proceed. Then her air powered drill can't muster enough torque to do its job, so she gets a spare out. It's also busted. She goes outside to 'retrieve something' but comes back reeking of a hasty cigarette break and gives the first drill another shot. Something else breaks and it keeps shooting water on me. Finally, halfway through she abruptly stops, tells me I'll need a root canal and packs my hacked up filling with a temporary epoxy and instructs me to see a different dentist for that. So I make an appointment with him an uncomfortable week in the future. When I see him he states that it's not necessary to do a root canal. At this point I've had it with Barbara Gill wasting my time, causing me pain and being rude, so I go see my original dentist Dr Lessner - a thoroughly awesome guy I should've seen initially but who is not on my approved venders list for my new insurance. I pay Out Of Pocket to get the darned filling installed. I must be a numbskull because a few months later I went back to Ms. Gill for my teeth cleaning. She prepped me in the chair and started the job. Then she stopped with the suction tube loudly in my mouth and said "you think I'm good enough to clean your teeth but not good enough to do your dental work huh" and before I could say something noncommittal she demanded that I leave her office immediately, insisting that I'd need a root canal on that molar "within five years". I left feeling traumatized. Here I am, nine years later and doing fine, while I also note that she's apparently out of business. Good riddance, and I hope that this review helps to keep her out of business. I'd rather go to the dentist in Little Shop of Horrors than her.
