Darryl Christopher Baucum

Dr. Baucum is an awesome dentist who takes time with his patients, and isn't drill-happy like so many dentists these days. The big draw back is that he isn't in network with ANY insurance companies, so even if you call and are told they take your insurance, they probably will be billing you for the majority of the treatments. When I called I was led to believe they were a provider for my insurance, but after the initial visit and one filling, I walked away paying almost $400, when according to my dental benefits I should only be paying 20% in or out of network. I and many others like me simply can't afford to spend this kind of money on small routine procedures. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed - great doctor, totally unaffordable and unreasonable treatment prices
