5I went to Dr. Kreisel after reading a lot of positive reviews about his speech clinic; however, my ENTIRE experience was completely negative. First, I checked in and the receptionist TOOK MY MONEY, but apparently did NOT check me in. After waiting an HOUR after my appointment time (while watching everyone else be taken back), I went back to the front desk and another receptionist let me know that they had not in fact checked me in and had passed me over this whole time. (Funny that they sure as hell took my money.) I came in because I have been experiencing a voice crack for several years that I am very self conscious about and only recently felt able to try to deal with. The nurse who took me back LAUGHED when I was trying to tell her because, you guessed it, my voice cracked as I was trying to tell her. SERIOUSLY?? Do they make it a practice to LAUGH AT THE PATIENTS?????? Finally Dr. Kreisel comes and spends all of 2 minutes with me, so he did not hear my voice crack. He immediately started joking about what a voice crack would sound like, laughing and impersonating someone with this condition. WHICH IS ME, ASS HAT! He told me that I didn't have a voice crack, but recommended a speech therapist at another one of their clinics. I left their office feeling trivialized and forgotten. If I wanted to spend $150 to be degraded there are a lot better ways to do so. Infuriated does not even begin to explain how I feel about this. Such a scam. I will not be back and I will be leaving this review everywhere possible.
