5Left after being a patient for 25 years, seeing them every six months or more, for 25 years! I drove across town to be seen there and he did not participate with our insurance and charged more than my friends paid at their dentists. In other words, I was a loyal, longstanding patient. When I requested my records be sent to my new dentist, no one asked why I was leaving or even cared. If they had, maybe they would have learned a little something about maintaining long term relationships with loyal patients. In the end, it turned out great. My new dentist is just down the street very personable, and more in line, price wise, with other dentists.
