We live near Dr. Anderson's office making him a good choice for a dentist for my daughter. For her initial three appointments she was seen within 30 minutes of the appointment time. She went for a cleaning recently and waited over 30 minutes after her appointment time before being seen. During the visit they found a few cavities. She scheduled an appointment to have those filled. She warned the staff of her extreme fear of needles upon her arrival. The receptionist advised her to try and calm down as the anxiety would make the pain worse. After waiting 20 minutes in the waiting room we were finally taken to an exam room, only to sit and wait for another 25 minutes. 40 minutes after her scheduled appointment time Dr. Anderson poked his head in the door to let her know he would be in momentarily, and proceeded to tell the patient in the room next to her the same thing. That patient arrived after her. He went into another room for a few minutes and then went into the other patient's room and started working on him. We waited a few more minutes but decided to leave after 45 minutes of wait time. My daughter had been dreading the procedure for days prior to the appointment. She had a high level of anxiety waiting for the appointment to begin. With her fear of needles waiting so long was very hard for her. I am not sure why the wait was so long. When we informed the staff we had to leave because of the long wait time no explanation or apology was given. The staff members we spoke to were very nice but because of the poorly run practice we now have to begin the process all over with another dentist. Unfortunately that means more anxiety filled days for my daughter. My advice is to stay away from this practice.
