We have been coming here for about 4 or 5 years. The staff and Dr. Metzger are all very good with my very active boys. The cleanings are very thorough. When my then 4-year-old had several cavities to fill, Dr. Metzger was professional enough to see that she would not be able to fill them because my son was physically bucking against her and staff, and she did not believe in holding him down (which I appreciate). She referred us to a pediatric dentist, who filled those cavities, but we continue to see Dr. Metzger as a family. Prices are the best I have seen in Ames, by far, as much as 50% less for certain services than other dentists. Have recommended her many times to friends.
