Dr. Niegsch and his team were very professional in handling my condition. I had a very bad wisdom tooth infection and was worried about not being able to afford a surgery. I was given very professional advice and a thorough breakdown of the costs I needed to cover. In the end I was told that I didn't need any surgery for my teeth - I only had to pay for a standard tooth removal. I visited other dental clinics in Ames prior to this, and one other clinic insisted that I needed a surgery (probably wanting to benefit from the extra costs of a surgery). I saved at least $400 by choosing Somerset! The customer service offered by Somerset is top-notch. They made everyone feel super welcome the moment we stepped into the clinic. They even offered me a choice of my favorite songs, a pillow, and a fleece blanket during the surgery. They really did the best they could at helping put me at ease throughout the process - so much so that I couldn't wait to go back the second time. I highly recommend Dentistry at Somerset!.
Amazing Dentist! I love coming to this dentist. I have tried a few other ones in town and this place has the friendliest staff and in my opinion some of the best dentists around. The place is always clean. Almost no waiting for your assigned appointment and flexible appointments. If your looking for a dentist in Ames Somerset Dentistry is the place to go!.
Ames Family Dental can accommodate people with mobility issues and those in wheelchairs. They have in office lifts and aids to help you in and out of the dental chair. Who knew?? I am so impressed with this and the welcoming spirit of the staff. Plus, they give high quality , compassionate care!.

Jennifer does an amazing job with my cleanings. I feel she is very thorough, has a pleasant demeanor, and makes me feel awesome. I genuinely like having my regular cleanings and she is a large part of it. I feel a little self conscious about my teeth in general, but I don't feel weird about it at all when I am there. The office staff is always pleasant as well. Customer service is fantastic and is honestly why I come here. Thanks everyone!.
