This dental office bills fraudulent codes to the Delta Dental HMO, in order to receive claim denials, in order to extract cash payments from the patient. In this practice of false claims, revenue to the office is maximized, as the cash payment will always be higher than the Dental Dental payment. As in my case, beware of claim denials, as those are manipulated by the office staff at Carnelian Family Dentistry with the intent to receive a cash payment. This office was investigated on my behalf by Delta Dental. Delta Dental findings were that I had paid $5,118 for services that Carnelian Family Dentistry was not entitled to, and have refused to return my money as requested by Delta Dental.
